GameTherapy app is a contribution of a research study and is developed by the Research Team of University at Buffalo - SUNY, New York.

The goal of this study is to improve adherence in healthcare by providing a competitive gaming environment to the patients.

Depending upon the patient's actual adherence, the patient is placed in one of three sub-groups - fully adherent, partially adherent, and not-adherent.

Our hypothesis is that patients who participate in the gamification group and who really see the results properly are likely to be more adherent than those who don't see the results.

- Green for Fully Adhere
- Yellow for Partial Adhere
- Red for Not Adhere

• Play different sounds depending upon user adherence


*Note
The app in itself does not store any user data and fetching of game results from the cloud is done securely using modern cryptography technique (over HTTPS).


*Intended Audience
GameTherapy app is designed to be used in medical setting and thus require prior approval for enrolling in this game study.
If you are not enrolled than you might get an error popup saying "Authentication Failed".
