FIT2FIGHT is a commitment to your "Part Time" Army service and yourself.
When we enlisted in the Army National Guard/Reserves, our individual Physical Fitness (PT) was the last thing that we would have believed would be a problem.
However, here we are years in to our contracts; a spouse, children, school, and jobs later.
LIFE HAPPENS! You wake up one day, still a proud and motivated soldier, but struggling with weight and PT issues.
We believe that as long as we are a SOLDIER, we will always be a barrel chested freedom fighter.
Now we are faced with, ""GET FIT OR GET OUT""! SO challenge yourself, get FIT so you can still FIGHT for the country you love!
With FIT2FIGHT we want to close the gap between the Active Army Service and the Army National Guard/Reserves concerning health, wellness, nutrition, and physical fitness.
Active duty service comes with certain ""perks"" that the National Guard/Reserves miss out on.
That ""perk"" is the nutrition and fitness programs that are afforded to the Active Army component.
This application will assist National Guard/Reserves soldiers in receiving that ""perk"".
In the Army National Guard/Reserves nutrition and fitness falls on the individual soldier.
A Unit's leadership can ""TALK"" and prepare their soldiers during a drill weekend for years with little to no results.
With this application we want help leadership assign and track nutrition and fitness goals for their soldiers throughout the month.
It will create a link for soldiers and leaders to work together towards a fitness and nutrition goal that is more than a 2 day drill.
