Learning to drive? With Drive VR, you’ll get a taste of using your observation skills as you would in your practical driving test—in virtual reality.
Download the app and practise spotting hazards, checking your blind spots, mirrors and looking out of your windows—all from the driver's seat.
During the drive, your observation skills will be tested and tracked in the app.
Keep giving it a go to improve and beat your high score!
Drive is a programme by NZ Transport Agency and ACC to create safe, skilled young drivers on New Zealand’s roads.

This experience works with the app on its own, combined with Google Cardboard or other 3D virtual reality headsets made for mobile.

This app provides a limited simulation of the observation skills portion of a practical driving test.
It is not a full driving test.
It is not intended to replace driving practise inside a real car.
Do not use this app in any capacity while you are driving, walking, or in a way that distracts you from real-life situations.
