The ContextKit App builds on top of TourmalineLabs' ContextKit SDK to showcase Automatic Drive Detection Technology.

With reduced reliance on the use of GPS signals our SDK requires minimal battery power during active drive recording and also during hibernation.

Our patent pending technology will detect any motorized drives, once woken up by a motion from the mobile device triggering the built in calibrated accelerometers sensors, and begin recording the trip right away.
Drive-detection information, including a location sample, will then be taken via GPS and a confirmed drive can then send functions to your app or your back-end for a variety of purposes.

Our SDK awakes within moments of a drive beginning and will continue to sense the vehicle’s motion for the duration of the trip.
When the vehicle stops, the SDK then falls back to hibernation waiting to be reawoken.
Our smartphone based Drive-Detection could also give location information if you require that information.
