The Mobile app on Chilli crop cultivation has been developed for Android OS platform with navigational elements which provides crop management solutions.
viz Crop production, Disease management, Pest management and IIHR Varieties and hybrids released by Institute.
The Crop production aspects viz.,Transplanting, Fertilizer, Irrigation, Weeding, harvesting and yield are available.
The Disease and Pest management includes various diseases and pests affecting Chilli crop describing its symptoms and control measures to be taken by the farmers for better management of their crop.
The IDM & IPM strategies were also provided in the app.
Further, IIHR released Chilli varieties and hybrids along with salient features are included, the other promising varieties and hybrids details are also included in the app.
A query window for farmers related to crop cultivation is available in app to post their cultivation problems, seed availability etc.
All these farmers queries are received by App admin by mail and reply will be communicated by Email by domain experts.
