The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) is the communications regulator in the state of Qatar established by virtue of Emiri Decree (42) in 2014.
CRA regulates the communications & information technology and postal sectors, and access to digital media.
Arsel is the Communications Regulatory Authority’s mobile app to empower telecom consumers in Qatar.
The app was specifically developed by CRA as an additional tool for consumers to provide their complaints and inquiries about telecommunication services in Qatar directly to CRA.
The data collected through the app will help CRA to work with the service providers to improve the quality of services in the country.
The word Arsel means “to send” in Arabic, and CRA hopes the app, will indeed help consumers communicate directly with us.
Through the app the consumers can:
• Send complaint and inquiry about telecommunication services directly to Communications Regulatory Authority.
• Access an online network coverage map showcasing other consumers experience and informing users if coverage issues been reported in their area or not.
• Test your internet speed.
• Know more about your rights and how we can help you.
• Receive updates and information from the CRA.
