“AR Sai-ji/Rajomon” is an application that uses computer graphics to allow users to experience Kyoto as it was 1200 years ago, including Sai-ji Temple—the counterpart to To-ji Temple—as well as Rajomon Gate marking the front of Heian-kyo (ancient Kyoto), and Suzaku-oji (Suzaku Avenue), the main street that led away from the gate.
The CG renditions give users a first-hand perspective as if they were there in historical times.
