AfroRADIO is a Smart device APP with a generous listing of radio stations from the continent of Africa and the African Diaspora.
The APP links your favourite Android device to several African language streams, enabling you to listen to music, sports, news or current events from more than 40 African countries.

Whether you are home or abroad, AfroRADIO by Ofamfa® puts you in touch with some of Africa's favourite talk radio, poetry, politics, music and important news.
Minimalist Design
We designed the APP with a minimalist colour scheme and a light data footprint to help you easily identify and select your preferred country and station.
Connectivity
The application requires a Wi-Fi internet connection or a celluar data connection in order to listen to the streams on your Android 3.0+ device.
Please allow a few seconds or minutes for the streaming content to satisfactorily connect to your device.
Technical
AfroRADIO works on devices running Android 3.0 and beyond.
For devices running anything below 3.0, the application installs well BUT is unable to produce any sound.
This is a codec support issue specific to the Android version.
Please review your device software version before installing.

Updates:

Some devices were unable to hear the streams.
This was an Android API specific problem.
The APP is now restricted to devices running HoneyCOMB 3.0 and above.
We are working on an alternative for devices running Android 2.3 and above to be released soon.
