Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an Internet Standard protocol for collecting and organizing information about managed devices on IP networks.
This app functions as an SNMP agent by running in the background and responding to incoming network requests with values of various device metrics, like temperature or remaining charge.
Management software based supporting SNMP collects these values to monitor device health.
If you don't know what any of that means, this app is probably not for you.
